With highly versatile baby transport systems available today, parents who are expecting twins can continue to pursue an active lifestyle with their babies. The hassle of handling two individual pushchairs or prams along narrow streets and crowded areas can easily be avoided with a single, compact, easy-to-handle buggy.
Double pushchairs are available from all major brands for twins or two young children. Parents can simply take both children in the same vehicle and watch over them easily. These pushchairs come in twin and tandem models, and this division is made on the basis of seating arrangements.
However, the benefits must not be allowed to cloud your judgment before you by a double pushchair. There are still some important considerations which you must keep in mind while shopping for one.
Safety and comfort is of primary concern while buying a double pushchair. Make sure there are harnesses and padded head rests in the pushchair you are planning to buy. If you will use the vehicle to take babies along during shopping, then make sure there is enough storage space underneath the seats. This is because when you add weight below the seats you will also be increasing the stability of the vehicle.
Look at all the features rather than just fuss about weight before you decide on a particular model. A double pushchair will naturally be heavier than a single model. But with the right kind of wheels and framework it might well be just as easy to handle. A comparative analysis of pros and cons of different pushchairs is available in numerous websites. This can help you take the right decision.

When you have a child you need to have a stroller to ensure that you can take him or her out comfortably. However, every new parent is confused regarding which stroller to purchase, as it is difficult to make a choice from among so many types and brands unless you are sure of all their features and of your particular needs.
You must make sure that you buy a stroller according to your way of living and your requirements, and that the stroller fits in with your daily activities. See how many times and for what purposes you need the stroller. You may want one for a short period or may want to keep it and use it for long term till your baby grows up.
You can choose an umbrella pushchair if you do not have enough space to store a pushchair. Similarly, three-wheeled stroller pushchairs are great for going outdoors. Many brands make pushchairs for jogging and also for twins and triplets to ensure that the parents can travel easily with them.
There are also companies like Quinny which provide convertible and multipurpose prams. These can be used for long term, either as prams or as pushchairs, or even as car seats. This will ensure that you do not need to buy another pushchair as your child grows up.
If all you need is a basic product which serves the purpose as efficiently as possible, then there are simple, sturdy and lightweight strollers in the market which you can go for.

Big Foot Relay. Get the children get two shoeboxes with them. Tape the hats onto the boxes, then cut a one-inch-wide and four-inch long slit in each top. Have the contestants slip their feet into the slits in the boxes and race.
Frisbee Tower. Purchase a cluster of mini Frisbees and aim them in a pile in the mid of the yard. Have the guests divide the Frisbees among themselves. The first player begins the action by placing one of his or her Frisbees on the earth. Each of the following players places his or her Frisbee on top of the first Frisbee, and the activity continues until someone causes the growing tower to topple.
Cross Step. Draw a ten-by-ten grid on the sidewalk or patio with chalk. Have each player stand on a different square. One at a time, each participant must move to a new square after crossing out the square she or he was once standing in. Graduation Tassels
Graduation tassels are the strips of cords that can be seen hanging from the top of a mortarboard, commonly known as a graduation cap. These tassels may also be known as liripipes, which refer to a historical part of clothing that meant a long tail of clothing. In this case, it is the ‘tail’ that is found on a cap. In many countries, it is a graduation custom for the side in which the graduation tassels
are hanging to be considered. There may be instances where it may remain on one side during the course of the ceremony and there are times when the side has to change.
The level of study requires the tassels to be worn on the right for students who have undergraduate degrees and when these students become graduates, the tassels are switched from right to left. During this ceremony, the graduation tassels are switched simultaneously from one side to the other. The colors of the tassels vary depending on the level of study and the institution’s choice of colors. High school students have tassels which are commonly the schools main color or the three major colors of the school put together. The colors should not exceed three as they will be a bit cumbersome.

Pregnancy
You’re in the final trimester of your pregnancy. Up until now you hadn’t felt so bad. Now, though, you feel enormous and there seems no end to it. Baby has started kicking on a regular basis and is so active at bedtime that you rarely get a good night’s sleep. You start to worry how you will cope once the baby is born if you feel so tired now. Your digestion is dreadful, you seem to have permanent heartburn - and when you try to bend down!
Baby arrives
You’d been waiting for this moment for so long. Here she is, in your home, a real human being created by you both, a little miracle. And what happens? She cries and cries and cries. It scares you. You’re on your own for so long in the day and her crying seems to go on and on. You are so very tired, you can hardly think straight anymore. When your partner comes home in the evening it isn’t so noticeable. Maybe she’s worn herself out with the crying. During the night your partner sleeps right through. (you have no idea how he can do that!).
Stressed Out
The crying pierces you right through. How can you help her? What are you doing wrong? How much longer will this go on for? How will you cope?
Sound familiar? Well you’re not alone. Nowadays families are more scattered, so there isn’t always going to be an extended family nearby ready to help. Dealing with lack of sleep and anxiety over your newborn can take its toll. Of course there are babies who settle right down, sleep through the night within a few weeks, take to breastfeeding readily and digest the milk well.
Colic
What if your baby suffers from colic? What if the birth itself was a very long and stressful experience and you and your baby haven’t recovered yet? The problem is that if you’re stressed, your baby is stressed and that exacerbates the colic. If you’re anxious, your baby will pick this up. It can become a vicious circle.
Traumatic Birth
If the birth was traumatic and your baby has not seemed to settle since birth, you would be well advised to consider taking him or her to a cranial osteopath, who can help with general alignment on a physical level, in a gentle way.
Stress - what it does to you
We all know that when you feel stressed things can start to go wrong. You start dropping things, banging into things, getting exasperated easily - you can almost feel the atmosphere around you changing. The same is true for your baby.
Relaxation - how it helps
Relaxation is so important for our general digestive system, nervous system, sleep and overall enjoyment. The key is becoming relaxed within yourself, as your baby will definitely pick up on your vibes. Deep breathing, meditation and yoga are all things that can be done in the home and will definitely help with relaxation.
Relaxation Music
What if you find it hard to switch off and meditate? What if yoga is too difficult or the classes are nowhere near where you live? There are pieces of music written especially to aid with calming the nervous system. By having such a CD on in the background you are creating a more soothing atmosphere for yourself and your child. You’ll notice that your baby is quite happy lying there, whereas before she might have been screaming her head off.
Breastfeeding
Once you are feeling more relaxed yourself, your baby will be aware of it. This can be of great benefit while you are breastfeeding. Some babies take longer to relax into breastfeeding. Playing such a piece of music can help you both to relax so that the feeding experience becomes calm and pleasant. Drink lots of water as well. When we’re stressed our bodies become dehydrated, so we need extra water.
Repeat Listening
Playing the same piece of music again and again can have a stronger effect as both you and your baby expect to feel more relaxed almost as soon as the CD has started. The music acts like a trigger, telling your body to let go of tension and settle down to enjoy relaxing.
